Superstars Drug Addicts who start their new life

Angelina Jolie
The glamour industry of Hollywood and Bollywood is full of celebrities with their closets full of skeletons. Whereas some to opt to keep their weaknesses hidden, there are some who struggle them and come out victorious. Here's a look at celebrities who were once-upon-a-time drug addicts but are now fresh as a whistle.

Angelina Jolie:

Jolie, in an interview, once said ‘I have done just about every drug likely:
cocaine, ecstasy, LSD and, my favourite, heroin.’ But from the time Angelina adopted her first child, the actress has stayed clean. Angelina fought her addiction habit for the sake of her children and now is a representative for cancer awareness, which involves being anti-drug misuse.
Manisha Koirala

Manisha Koirala:

Koirala was one of the greatest heroines Bollywood has ever seen. Her acting in Khamoshi move left people speechless. But Manisha succumbed to the pressures of the industry; she was continually in the news for her smoking, drinking and drug abuse troubles that caused her to gain a lot of weight and look tired. Her career was nearly over, but thankfully, Manisha just fought cancer and managed to quit her vices. Manisha has even turned into an anti-drug campaigner.

Sanjay Dutt:

Sanjay is not known as Bollywood’s bad boy for nothing. He, who became a drug addict after his mother’s death from cancer, spent 5 months in jail for the possession of drugs in 1982.  Reports said that Sanjay lost out on the lead role in the movie Hero because of his drug addiction habit.  But after spending some time in US rehab centre, the actor returned back in the normal life and has remained clean since.

Robert Downey Jr:

Iron Man is not so tough after all. The highest paid actor in Bollywood, Robert Downey Jr once battled a huge drug addiction difficulty and has been arrested many times on drug charges. Robert lost out on many roles because of his addiction too. After several stints in rehab, he's now clean and has given us big movies to keep in mind him by.
