Few tips for healthy skin

A good skin care as well as sun protection and gentle cleansing can keep your skin healthy and glowing for years to come.

Do not have time for intensive skin care? Pamper your skin with the basics. Good skin care and healthy way of life choices can help delay the natural aging process and prevent various from skin problems.

No1. Protect your skin from the sun

One of the most significant ways to take care of your skin is to protect it from the sun rays. A lifetime of sun contact can cause wrinkles, age spots and other skin issues and also increase the risk of skin cancer.

Make use of sunscreen. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least fifteen minutes. When you're outside the home, reapply sunscreen every 2 hours or more often if you're swimming or perspiring.

Look for shade. Keep away from the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when the sun's rays are strongest.

Wear protective clothing. Try to cover your skin with tightly woven long-sleeved shirts, long pants and wide-brimmed hats. Also think laundry additives, which give clothing an extra layer of ultraviolet protection for a certain number of washing, or special sun-protective clothing which is specially designed to block ultraviolet rays of the sun.

No.2. Do not smoke

Smoking makes your skin seem older and contributes to wrinkles. Smoking narrows the small blood vessels in the outermost layers of skin, which decreases blood flow in the skin. This depletes the skin of oxygen and nutrients that are very important to skin health. Smoking also damages collagen and elastin the fibers that give your skin its strength and elasticity and made it heather. In addition, the repetitive facial expressions you make when smoking as like pursing your lips when inhaling and squinting your eyes to remain out smoke can contribute to wrinkles.

If you are a smoker, the best method to protect your skin is to quit. Make a request to your doctor for tips or treatments to help you stop smoking.

No.3. Treat your skin softly

On a daily basis cleansing and shaving can take a toll on your skin. To keep it soft:

Limit bath time. Bath with hot water and long showers remove oils from your skin. Minis your bath or shower time, and use warm rather than very hot water.

Avoid strong soaps. Try to avoid strong soaps and detergents can strip oil from your skin. In its place, choose mild cleansers.

Shave very carefully. To protect and lubricate your whole skin, apply well known shaving cream, lotion or gel before shaving. For the closest shave, use a clean, sharp razor. Shave in the way the hair grows, not against it.

Pat dry. After washing or bathing, softly pat or blot your skin dry with a smooth towel so that some moisture remains on your skin and your skin remain good.

Moisturize dry skin. If your face skin is dry, use a good moisturizer that fits your skin type. For daily use, think about a moisturizer that contains SPF.

No 4. Eat a healthy diet daily

A healthy and good diet can help you look and feel your best. Eat too much fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. The relationship between diet and acne isn't clear but some study suggests that a diet rich in vitamin C and low in unhealthy fats and processed or advanced carbohydrates might promote younger looking skin.
